The removable 8-liter soup insert is made of 18/8 stainless steel, making it easy to clean. The heating element is made of 18/8 stainless steel. The tempered glass lid features an insulated handle, a cutout for a ladle, and an aluminum hinge. The special two-piece lid construction reduces heat loss when opening while maintaining optimal hygiene. The lid includes a label holder with the name of the dish. The electronic control panel displays the operating time, set temperature, and the current temperature. The last temperature setting is saved in memory and automatically selected when the appliance is turned on. The temperature can be adjusted from 35˚C to 85˚C in 1˚C increments. The water container has a maximum fill line indicating ≈ 1.5 liters. Not intended for cooking; it is for keeping food warm only.
